Document Shred Day!
February 21 9:00 am - 12:00 pm | Mobberly Baptist Church - Basement
As part of the February Deeper Challenge to declutter, the church has partnered with Shred-It, a secure document destruction company, to shred on-site any personal, old, confidential, or sensitive documents you may have. This service will be offered on Saturday, February 21 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., the same time as the planned Rummage Sale drop-off. If you have any questions about document shredding, please reach out to the Finance office at (903) 663-3100.
FAQ’s:
Question: Do the members have to pay a fee to have their items shred? No, Mobberly is covering the cost to have Shred-It to be on-site to handle this for us.
Question: Will they shred/destroy electronics and/or medicine bottles? No. We have engaged Shred-It to only handle paper shredding.
Question: Do I have to bring my documents in a certain way? No. You can bring your documents in a box, bag, plastic sack and those documents will then be dumped in a large rolling 55-gallon container. The container is then picked up by Shred-It and destroyed on-site. Please work to have all metal items removed from your documents specifically items such as binder clips, paper clips, brad folders, etc.
Question: Is there a limit and/or weight to how much we can bring? No. You can bring as much as you would like to be shred.
