Whether you are 65 or 95, there is a place for you in Mobberly’s Sr. Adult Ministry. You’ll find the Sr. Adults of Mobberly busy, caring, sharing, teaching, and serving in many areas of our church and community. At the heart of the Sr. Adult Ministry is the Connect Group, some call it Sunday School, but indeed it is so much more than what takes place during one hour on a Sunday morning. Mobberly’s Sr. Adults get involved in many ways, here are just a few of the opportunities to consider:

Our group is couples and singles. Strong biblical teaching and interactive discussion. Humor and freedom combine to create a relaxed environment.  We seek many opportunities to serve together and enjoy sharing in times of fellowship with each other.

Our class has a discussion-based teaching style, with music and singing together. We participate in local and non-local mission projects.  We have warm, friendly fellowship through class and group activities.

A ladies' class with fellowship and study of God’s word through lecture and discussion. On Tuesdays, we use our gifts to minister to others in our community.

Our Connect Group consists of empty nesters. Our team of three teachers rotates in bringing the lessons, providing various perspectives on understanding how the Bible applies to life. We are involved with helping others and have a variety of mission projects throughout the year.

A class of couples and singles. Our teachers use both lecture and discussion as we study together through various books of the Bible. Prayer, caring relationships, and the support of missions and local ministries provide ongoing opportunities for our group to reflect the love of Christ.
