Mobberly Baptist Church to Host Patriotic Celebration with Eric Metaxas.
Mobberly Baptist Church will host best selling author and radio host Eric Metaxas on July 1, during their Patriotic Celebration.
“I am so excited that on July 1st, as Mobberly Baptist Church celebrates America, Eric Metaxas will be our special guest,” said Dr. Glynn Stone, senior pastor. “His most recent book, If You Can Keep It, addresses American liberty.”
Metaxas is the New York Times#1 bestselling author of Martin Luther, If You Can Keep It, Bonhoeffer, Miracles, Seven Women, Seven Men, and Amazing Grace. He has written more than thirty children’s books, including the bestsellers Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving, It’s Time to Sleep, and My Love. His books have been translated into more than twenty languages.
He is the host of the Eric Metaxas Show, a nationally syndicated radio program heard in more than 120 cities around the U.S.
The special patriotic service will feature music that celebrates our freedom and our faith, followed by a message from Metaxas. Services on Sunday, July 1 are at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. on the Longview campus located at 625 E Loop 281, and at 11 a.m. on the Marshall campus located at 101 W Carolanne Blvd in Marshall.
Metaxas will speak live in the 8 & 9:30 a.m. services in Longview and via video during the 11 a.m. services in both the Longview and Marshall campuses. The event is free and all are invited to attend.
