2022-2023 Annual Church Budget

Fiscal Year: Sept. 2022 - Aug. 2023

Mobberly’s Annual Church Budget (ACB) is not just a budget. It’s a financial plan for accomplishing God’s plans for Mobberly each year.

The Staff and Finance Committee work together to construct this ministry guideline, recognizing the need for flexibility as God uniquely leads and directs each year. As the year progresses the Staff and Finance Committee review the progress for the ACB, seeking to be the best stewards of the resources God provides through His people to accomplish His mission.

In August 2022, the members of Mobberly Baptist Church (the “Church”) approved and voted on the 2022-2023 Annual Church Budget (ACB) for the upcoming fiscal year (Sept 2022 – Aug. 2023). The ACB for the 2022-2023 fiscal year totals $8,436,761 thanks to the continuing generosity of the Mobberly Baptist family.

Questions about the ACB of Mobberly Baptist Church should be directed to the Director of Finance, Cody Bailey, at [email protected].

Financial Reporting

The monthly financial report is compiled by Finance staff members and subsequently submitted to and approved by the Finance Committee. The most recent financial report is above.

Questions about this report should be directed to the Director of Finance, Cody Bailey at [email protected].

Non-Budgeted Projects/Funding

The Church by-laws allow the Finance Committee to approve non-budgeted projects/funding up to 14 days of cash from the Cash Surplus; with a limit of 7 days of cash per one project. The by-laws require that non-budgeted projects/funding be reported to the church.

As of Dec. 7, 2022, the Finance Committee has not approved any projects or funding from the cash surplus for the current fiscal year.

Financial Integrity and Accountability

Mobberly Baptist Church believes strongly in financial integrity and accountability when it comes to the resources entrusted to us by contributors to the church’s ministry.

  • On a monthly basis, financial reports are presented to the Finance Committee and on a quarterly basis to the Deacon Body.
  • On an annual basis, the church brings in an independent audit firm to conduct an audit of our financial records and practices.
