The mission of the Mobberly worship ministry is to "Declare His glory among the nations, His wonderful works among the peoples." (1 Chronicles 16:24) The Mobberly worship ministry strives to incorporate music, drama, audio, video, and lighting into our expression of worship. We are excited to welcome those interested in serving in any aspect of the worship ministry.

Mobberly's Worship Ministry
The worship ministry of Mobberly Baptist Church is made up of adults, students and children of all ages and backgrounds. We come together each week to: “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.” (I Chron. 16:24) Our goal is to train individuals to use their spiritual and musical giftedness to worship God. Mobberly’s worship ministry believes in the pursuit of excellence for the glory of God. The psalmist said, “I will not offer to the Lord that which costs me nothing,” (II Samuel 24:24) so we strive to offer the Lord an excellent sacrifice. As you will see through our different musical styles and groups, the worship ministry is excited to allow the people of God to both serve and experience Jesus Christ! We invite YOU to come and join our team!

Adult Choir
Our choir is a group of uniquely gifted people of all ages, leading worship in both the 8 and 9:30 a.m. worship gatherings at the Longview campus. The choir is a group of believers who connect weekly during rehearsals, support one another through prayer and enjoy fellowship at different social gatherings throughout the year.
How to Join: Come to any Wednesday evening rehearsal, no auditions required.

Orchestra
This group of skilled instrumentalists come together to enhance the message of Jesus by using their musical talents to lead in worship each week in the 8 and 9:30 a.m. worship gatherings at the Longview campus. The orchestra also joins the Mobberly Choir for its annual Patriotic Celebration and Christmas presentation, Sounds of the Season.

Bands & Singers
Multiple teams of skilled musicians and singers including high school students, college students, and adults come together to serve Mobberly by leading in worship. These teams serve the church by leading across all campuses for varied age groups.

KidsLIFE Children's Choir
Current needs include a Lights Volunteer, Video/Lyrics Volunteer, and a Choreography Volunteer.
Each week, children in grades Pre-K through 6th grade gather on Wednesday nights as part of KidsLIFE. KidsLIFE is an exciting evening of activities, music, missions, and discipleship. Children’s Choir features fun and age appropriate music, hands on activities and an active time of praise and worship. Our goal in Children’s Choir is to teach Biblical Truth through music.
How to join: Come on Wednesday evenings during the school year

Media Ministry
Mobberly Media exists to further the Gospel through the mediums of today’s technology. We enhance and facilitate worship and ministry in the church, and extend the message beyond the walls, into our community and the world.
Our team strives for excellence in all that we do because we believe that our mission is the most important mission humanity has been given, to share the love and story of Jesus Christ.
Mobberly Media use audio, video and lighting to enhance ministry in the church, and video streaming and other channels to extend the ministry of the church beyond our walls.
Mobberly Media consists of dedicated volunteers that operate equipment each week on all our campuses and venues. You too can join our team and use your gifts in our effort to reach the lost. You don’t have to be an expert to be involved, just available. You can obtain more information about serving along side us in Longview or Marshall by emailing [email protected].
