Whether you are 65 or 95, there is a place for you in Mobberly’s Sr. Adult Ministry. You’ll find the Sr. Adults of Mobberly busy, caring, sharing, teaching, and serving in many areas of our church and community. At the heart of the Sr. Adult Ministry is the Connect Group, some call it Sunday School, but indeed it is so much more than what takes place during one hour on a Sunday morning. Mobberly’s Sr. Adults get involved in many ways, here are just a few of the opportunities to consider:

Events and outings serve as a great way to experience spiritual growth and encouragement, meet new friends, and explore new places. Throughout the year, Mobberly’s Sr. Adults enjoy day trips, conferences, and fellowship opportunities.
Experience a Caring Touch
Are you, a spouse, or family member homebound? Would you like to receive an ongoing visit from one of Mobberly’s Care Friends? A quick call will help us get you connected with this ministry.
Impact! Each of us has an opportunity to make a difference by offering our time, talents, and treasures to serve the Lord and others. Whether you have a few hours to invest or are looking for an ongoing ministry to get involved in, there is a place for you to serve at Mobberly.
Reach out to those in our church and community who are homebound. Offer your prayers, encouragement, and share something special from the church as you make monthly visits and phone calls.
It is a joy and a privilege to reach out to those in our community that require the additional care of an assisted living center or nursing home. Bible teaching, worship, prayer, music, and encouragement are a regular part of these ministries. These ministry opportunities take place each Tuesday and Thursday.
In conjunction with Longview Community Ministries, Mobberly teams make deliveries throughout the community to those that are elderly and/or disabled. Teams go out on the 1st Wednesday and the 4th Thursday of each month.
